Ink + Ash

Tattoos are permanent marks that represent part of your life. Tattoos are an enduring way to commemorate loved ones who have passed on and show your commitment to remember them always. Many choose memorial, cremation, or ash tattoos to keep those close forever, known as memorial tattoos or cremation tattoos – something any professional tattoo artist can assist with creating.

Tattoo safety concerns often stem from improper handling or lack of sterilization protocols by artists. A reputable studio will always ensure all tools and equipment have been appropriately sterilized prior to beginning work on a client, as well as make sure ashes have been finely ground before being mixed into tattoo ink.

Ashes are reduced in molecular size so as to match the pigments they will be used with, ensuring full incorporation into tattoo ink. Finally, various processes are undertaken in order to achieve maximum sterilization levels for safety during tattoo use. Creating the ideal ashes-infused tattoo ink for tattooing purposes.

Everence’s proprietary process to produce their cremated remains tattoo ink microencapsulates it with medical grade material so it will stay safe inside your tattoo for life and will not be rejected or absorbed by your body. This ensures your ink won’t bleed off or wash away after time has passed.

Cremation tattoo costs may be slightly more than traditional tattoos; however, they are worth every extra cent as a permanent reminder of a loved one. Healing time for cremation tattoos should be similar to any other tattoo; however aftercare products must be used.

The Earthlings

Eddie Vedder formed The Earthlings to tour his newly released ukelele album. They first made their debut at his Ohana Festival last September and will hit the road this February for more concerts showcasing both Pearl Jam favorites as well as his original music.

The tour is set to kick off in New York City and conclude in Seattle – Vedder’s hometown – where special guest Glen Hansard will join them as special guests. Concerts will include songs from Vedder’s album as well as covers such as R.E.M’s “Drive,” George Harrison’s “Isn’t It a Pity?” and Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World.”

Vedder released his latest album, Earthling, this month with producer Andrew Watt at his side. It boasts songs ranging from folk, country, and rock styles – even including one collaboration with Elton John on “Picture.” Vedder has made political statements through his music in the past and recently denounced offshore drilling with reports against offshore drilling projects in his lyrics.

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, former RHCP guitarist Josh Klinghoffer (now touring member of Pearl Jam), Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, and Glen Hansard on guitars and vocals make up the lineup for this tour. Pino Palladino, who participated with them at the Ohana Festival, is no longer available due to scheduling conflicts.

As well as shows in New York and Seattle, Vedder and his band will also perform some shows in California during their tour that begins February 3 in New York and wraps up February 24 in Vedder’s hometown of Seattle through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program – open until Sunday, December 5. Tickets for each of these performances can be obtained until Sunday, December 5, through this Ticketmaster service.

People looking for tickets can register with Ticketmaster; the first 4,000 people who write will get to attend one of the concerts; any remaining tickets will be sold later on. Proceeds from these concerts will benefit Gulf Coast communities recovering from Hurricane Katrina.

Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks has become one of the most successful country music artists ever, selling over 157 million albums and performing more concerts than any other artist ever has before him. Alongside this international acclaim, Brooks has received several prestigious awards, such as being honored with both the Kennedy Center Honor in 2021 and the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize in 2022, additionally being named Touring Artist of the Decade by Pollstar in 2009.

Brooks launched his career with the release of his self-titled debut album in 1989. This was met with great commercial success and quickly established Brooks as an influential force within the country music scene. His engaging live shows drew large crowds while his music blurred the lines between country and pop. No Fences became his breakout album at number one on the Billboard 200 charts; singles from this record, including “Friends in Low Places,” also enjoyed great success on the Billboard charts.

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks made history when they embarked on the Garth Brooks World Tour concert series that sold over 6.3 million tickets over three-and-a-half years, the highest ticket sales total ever for any country music artist ever before or since.

After his tour concluded, Brooks returned to the studio to record Man Against Machine. The album proved both commercial and critical success, becoming his breakout effort among subsequent recordings such as Sevens and Double Live, which also became massive hits. At this point, he was honored with being inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Brooks performed five sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ Staples Center as a benefit concert to assist victims of 2007 California wildfires, all proceeds going towards firefighters and families of Southern California. All five performances were filmed and broadcast live by CBS with all proceeds going directly to those affected.

Garth Brooks made his Las Vegas residency debut with Garth Brooks/Plus ONE in 2023, running through fall 2024. Additionally, Brooks has continued touring across both North America and Europe and recently initiated an ongoing weekly Facebook Live series entitled Inside Studio G which airs every Monday evening at 7:00 pm Eastern on his Facebook page.
