Carl Weber The Family Business

Carl Weber The Family Business is an American crime drama series premiered on BET+ in 2018. The series centers around the Duncan family, who own and operate an exclusive car dealership during the day, but their illicit nightly activities take an altogether darker turn.

Nikaya D. Brown Jones serves as showrunner and executive producer, while Trey Haley acts as co-executive producer. This series also stars Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Armand Assante, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, and Miguel A. Nunez Jr. Nikaya D. Ernie Hudson

Ernie Hudson has been keeping busy these past months with appearances in Grace & Frankie and Carl Weber’s Family Business on BET+, in addition to working on several other projects.

The show follows the Duncan family, who run an exclusive car dealership by day but lead dangerous double lives at night. L.C. Hudson plays patriarch L.C. who wants to pass the business to his son L.T.

Valarie Pettiford stars as Charlotte Duncan, Armand Assante plays Sal Dash, Emilio Rivera plays Orlando Duncan, Javicia Leslie plays Paris Duncan, Sean Ringgold plays Junior Duncan, and Miguel A. Valarie Pettiford

Valarie Pettiford, an award-winning stage and television actress, dancer, and jazz singer who received a Tony Award nomination for her performance as Fosse on Broadway, is currently unleashing her wild side as Charlotte Duncan on Carl Weber’s The Family Business series on BET. Additionally, she can be found starring as Ronda Sales from Being Mary Jane, as well as other popular television programs.

By day, the Duncan family runs a thriving exotic car dealership in New York City; by night, however, they engage in an illicit criminal world that threatens them all. When under attack by outside forces, they must either stick together or perish alone.

Bern Nadette Stanis plays Nee Nee, Larry Duncan’s fiery southern belle wife, while Nayirah Teshali portrays Lauryn, Larry’s hip and trendy cousin just out of assassin school.

Armand Assante

Armand Assante is an accomplished actor known for appearing in many movies and television shows. His distinctive look makes him ideal for portraying tough-guy roles; additionally, he has taken part in various Broadway productions.

He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his role in the 1996 television movie “Gotti.” Since then, he has appeared in films such as Judge Dredd and When Nietzsche Wept and BET series like Black Hamptons, where he currently stars.

On The Family Business, he portrays Sal Dash as a mafia crime boss and close ally of L.C. Duncan’s. He expresses concern over specific changes within his family and purchases by L.C. Duncan that have caused tension. His net worth is estimated at $2 Million; with his wife, they reside on a farm in New York together and share two daughters: Anya and Alesandra.

Emilio Rivera

By day, the Duncans run a thriving exotic car dealership. But by night, they engage in an illicit subterranean life. Now, with one of them being threatened, it will be critical for them to stick together or die apart.

Emilio Rivera, best known for his roles on Sons of Anarchy and its spinoff Mayans MC, will star in BET’s new drama The Family Business. This show is inspired by Carl Weber’s best-selling crime novels about seemingly upstanding families hiding dangerous secrets.

Darrin Henson

Darrin Dewitt Henson is a choreographer, actor, and director best known for creating Darrin’s Dance Grooves instructional dance video and appearing as one of its stars on Soul Food, which had one of the longest-running television drama series featuring an African American cast.

Henson plays Orlando Duncan, newly appointed CEO of Duncan Motors and second eldest son to L.C. His character exudes elegance, supreme intelligence, masterful leadership skills, and calculated revenge.

Sean Ringgold

The Duncan family may be well-known in Jamaica, Queens; however, that does not preclude them from experiencing over-the-top drama. When family figurehead L.C. Duncan calls a family meeting to transfer business control of his firm to one of his children, everyone becomes nervous.

Sean Ringgold stars as Junior Duncan, the oldest and largest of their siblings and security specialists. A large man with an even more enormous ego will do whatever is necessary to protect his family.

The Family Business follows a seemingly upstanding family that runs an exotic car dealership by day, yet at night fights a dangerous dual life against high-ranking politicians, mafias, and drug cartels within New York’s underworld.

Tri Destined Studios presents another season of its family drama show on BET+ starting July 2, starring Javicia Leslie and Bern Nadette Stanis.

Miguel A. Nunez Jr.

Miguel A. Nunez Jr. has appeared in various films and TV shows, such as the comedy film The Return of the Living Dead with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Life alongside Drea de Matteo and Matt LeBlanc. Additionally, he appeared as an additional supporting character opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia for Street Fighter as a supporting player and has recurring roles on Joey as a guest star.

He stars as Harris Grant, the Duncan family lawyer, and fixer who can successfully navigate any situation. His marriage to London Duncan seems ideal on the surface; however, she may be hiding some unexpected secrets!

Emilio Rivera stars as Alejandro Zuniga, an intelligent crime boss and longtime adversary of the Duncan family. Although he attempts to reconcile through Miguel Zuniga (Rivera’s character), can he be trusted?

Arrington Foster

Born and raised in Clinton, Maryland, Arrington Foster received his Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Texas Christian University. As part of his vocation, he performed in numerous plays and melodic functions, eventually moving to Los Angeles to fulfill his dream of acting on film.

Arrington is currently seen in Black Hamptons, an adaptation of Carl Weber’s crime novels about an upstanding family that secretly lives a dangerous double life. Arrington plays Rio Duncan, Paris’s flashy twin brother who manages an NYC club & lounge. Executive produced by Nikaya D. Dylan Weber

Dylan Weber is a renowned hockey player from Switzerland who currently plays for Zurich SC and makes an excellent living as an NHL Hockey Player. Due to keeping his personal life private and his love life confidential, there is not much information regarding Dylan’s relationships or hookups.
