Fisker has also announced that it will begin taking reservations for the PEAR compact urban EV. The vehicle will retail for less than competitors, according to Fisker. The company plans to sell the PEAR for around US$30,000.

In January, Fisker announced that it has received over 62,000 orders for its Ocean SUV. It plans to start building the SUV in November. The SUV will be priced at around $37,500. The vehicle will be produced in 42,400 units by the end of 2023. The company expects the price to be lower than rivals Rivian R1S and Tesla Model X.

Fisker’s Ocean

During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last month, Fisker unveiled its new electric SUV, the Ocean. It is designed to be a modern luxury vehicle. The concept vehicle features an interior volume similar to a BMW 5-Series, but with a much smaller price tag.

The base model is a single motor with front-wheel drive, delivering 275 horsepower. It comes with a standard-range battery that can deliver 250 miles. There’s also an all-wheel drive version with a dual motor setup, producing 350 miles per charge.

The Fisker Ocean also includes wireless phone charging. There’s a cargo cover, which folds in the middle to reveal a small underfloor area. The floor can also be secured upright, which keeps cargo from rolling around.

Other features include a 17.1-inch infotainment screen that rotates from landscape to portrait orientation. There’s a power rear liftgate and digital gauge cluster. The steering wheel is also touch-sensitive.

The Fisker Ocean comes with a 16-speaker 500-watt sound system. There’s also a remote vehicle locator, Amazon Alexa voice control, and blindspot monitoring.
